Goshen gets new monitor

Today the Goshen First Aid Crew received our new Philips Tempus Pro cardiac monitor (on the left) and received training on it. This will be replacing one of our Philips MRX cardiac monitor which is almost 20 years old. This new monitor has a lot of features some are real time transmitting, video laryngoscope, ultrasound and a lot more. It is also lightweight with the monitor weighing 8 pounds and the manual defibrillator weighing 4 pounds. This monitor will be used for the next 20+ years. This is the first one in the CSEMS region. Members from the Goshen First Aid Crew, Rockbridge Baths Vol Fire Department and Rockbridge County Fire & Rescue showed up to look at this monitor.
