Medical Emergency Shut Road Down

On January 19, 2024 at 19:06 Rescue 13 along with Rescue 1 & 4 were dispatched to I-64 and Scenic Dr for an unknown Medical Emergency. Ambulance 133 and Squad 13 responded from Rescue 13 with Medic 47 from KCRS. Medic 47 arrived first and found a tour bus stopped in the middle of the road. While Medic 47 was handling patient care Rescue 133 blocked traffic until Squad 13 arrived. One lane of Scenic Dr was shut down until the arrival of state police since the drive did strike a guard rail. Units remained on scene until another driver could come pick up the tour bus full of kids. All units cleared the scene after a little while.
