MVA in the Gap

On December 17, 2023 at 14:12 Rescue 13 along with Company 3 (Goshen Vol. Fire Department) and Rescue 4 (Rockbridge County Fire Rescue Paid staff) was dispatched to Panthers Gap for a single vehicle MVA with possible injuries. Squad 13 and Chief 13 responded first from Goshen First Aid Crew. Ambulance 133 responded shortly after. Squad 13 was the first unit to arrive and found a single vehicle blocking both lanes. Attack 34 and engine 32 was right behind squad 13. No transport required which placed Rescue 133 and Medic 46 in service. Squad 13 and company stayed on scene to remove the vehicle and was then went back in service.
